This video shows two aspects of specifically northern México. First it is about women in México working in maquilas that are textile as well as electronic. The second is the use of norteño music, although there are no lyrics, but help reinforce the focus of the maquila growth phenomenon of specifically northern México. The clip is a bit longer than is necessary, but is still a good representation of the population and the conditioning of the film plays a good contrast with the products that the women are making such as circuit boards and cloth-assemblage of nice material.
